Commissioners Scott Miller, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
0843: Bullock moved, Blain seconded, approval of claims and a special check run for 12/21/23. Motion carried.
0852 Geospatial Information Systems Coordinator / Fire Warden Tom Kohley met to discuss Federal Firefighter Property (FFP) items; Commissioners agreed to have both recent trailers shipped along with the side-by-sides.
Administrative Officer Angela Newell joined the meeting.
9:00 Bullock moved to approve CureMD Agreement Addendum; Blain seconded; motion carried.
Discussed leave accrual limitations.
10:00 County Attorney Alex Nixon met for his regular appointment. Miller asked about the police report regarding road damages; Nixon noted needs to have a conversation with the investigating officer and would like to have Miller or a member of his Road Crew interviewed to supplement the report. Nixon did not have any new information to report on the Matriarch gravel-crushing litigation. Nixon and the Commissioners discussed the disposal of wheelchairs, walkers, and other items obtained from Cedar Wood Villa and the possibility of donating to the senior centers for greater community use. Discussed abandonment of Rushwater Road because of the challenges with restoring the road from 2022 flood damage. Discussed the Airport Interlocal Agreement presented by the City of Red Lodge and the Airport Board’s discussion about survey costs for the new Airport Boundary.
11:00 Clerk and Recorder Macque Bohleen and Jim and Sandy Morgan were present for the sale of Tax Deed parcel described as S18, T07 S, R24 E, PILLSBURY PLACER MS # 7281. Blain opened bidding at $3,165.59, bid by Jim Morgan; sold.
Commissioners discussed State School Equalization Mills and where the balance of the increase is going when the funding from the State to local schools is going down.
Bullock moved to approve Commissioners Proceedings for December 7; Blain seconded; motion carried.
