Commissioners Doug Tucker, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock, and Administrative Assistant Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance
Commissioner Bullock moved to accept Treasurer Cash Report for January 2018; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried.
Commissioners approved adding existing accident/incident reporting policy to personnel manual.
9:00 Justice Court Clerks Lynn Schwend, Callie Allen, and Raphael He Does It and Beartooth Billings Clinic CEO Kelly Evans, and Public Health Supervisor Roberta Cady met with Commissioners to discuss building protocols when the conference room is being used as an alternate court room. The discussion focused on who can authorize the use of other spaces in the building. It was determined that much of the confusion could be addressed with additional way-finding signs. Angela will work with Justice Court and Personal Service Building staff on signage. Individual offices, including Public Health, will continue to intact their own protocols when there are potentially volatile individuals in the building.
10:00 Civil Deputy Jacque Papez, Dispatcher Christi Brenna, and DES Coord. / GIS Mgr. Tom Kohley met with Commissioners. They discussed the Simulcast Radio system. Jacque noted Industrial Communications and Electronics’ attorney was surprised by the County’s demand letter; he believed the issues were being remedied based on the meeting he had. Christi presented Commissioners with a Dispatch policy to establish a dispatch hiring pool. Commissioners approved advertising for current dispatch vacancies and to place successful applicants in hiring pool per the hiring policy.
