COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS
January 17, 2023
Commissioners Scott Miller, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock; and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
Johnathan *** met with Commissioners to discuss gravel crushing bid process, gravel stock for the Bridger road shop, and repairs to Lovers Lane in Belfry. Miller noted road base repairs are needed before gravel can be placed on the road.
10:00 Brent Moore Interstate Engineering met with Commissioners for Bridge Deck bid opening. One bid was received from True North Steel as follows:
Meeteetse $172,166
East Side Road North $221,800
East Side Road South $352,173
Miscellaneous Work $5,000
Bid totaled $751,139. Interstate Engineering will review the bid to determine there are no issues and make a recommendation next week.

Commissioners discussed Tom Kohley’s old GIS pickup; Commissioners agreed to transfer the vehicle to Public Health.
Commissioners discussed items that were acquired with the Cedar Wood property. 7-8-2212 MCA requires all property with a value in excess of $2,500 to be sold at a public auction; any non-profits or other entities would need to acquire the items through the County’s auction.
Geospatial Information Systems Coordinator / Fire Warden Tom Kohley met with Commissioners to discuss adding a grill guard to his new pickup. Commissioners agreed they are worth the investment. Also discussed the possibility of adding a shower unit to the Fair Grounds. Kohley is not sure a standalone shower unit would qualify for Homeland Security Grant funding; but might be able to be paired with some sort of medical facility/drive through vaccine clinic and apply for COVID funding. Commissioners were not sure they wanted to pursue that option.
Bullock moved to approve employee time; Blain seconded; motion carried.
Commissioners confirmed they will move forward with Nation Wide Retirement Solutions Deferred Compensation plan additions.
12:00 Adjourned.

Respectfully submitted: Angela Newell, Administrative Officer
