Commissioner Tucker move to accept Clerk & Recorder December 2017 Deposit Reconciliation; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried.
Commissioner Tucker moved to accept Treasurer Cash Report December 2017; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried.
Commissioner Tucker moved to accept Justice Court December 2017 End of Period Disbursement; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried.
Commissioner Tucker moved to accept District Court December 2017 Fines and Fees Receipts Summary; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried.
9:00 Commissioners reviewed resolutions regarding Commissioner Meeting Dates, Public Postings, Office Hours, Travel Rates, Daily rate of Incarceration. No changes were recommended. Commissioner Bullock moved to appoint Commissioner Tucker as 2018 Presiding Officer and Commissioner Blain as backup Presiding Officer; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.
9:30 Commissioner Bullock moved to accept Montana Association of Counties Insurance Renewal; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried.
Red Lodge Rural Fire would like to be included in discussion regarding new law and justice building, they are interested in sharing facilities.
Commissioners discussed vehicles for Commissioners and rotation with road foreman.
10:00 County Attorney Alex Nixon and contract Deputy Jacque Papez met with Commissioners. Discussed the Simulcast radio system; Commissioners requested attorney’s review litigation procedures at next Thursday’s meeting. They also discussed the Mud Springs et. al. Wind Projects New and Expanding Industry applications. Everpower has again been requested to provide Development Permit revision documents. They will not be attending Monday’s meeting and will not have documents to us prior to that time.
Commissioners discussed road classifications for the East Rosebud Road. Commissioner Bullock would like to change to 1-3 priority. Commissioner Tucker and Commissioner Blain agreed.
Commissioner Bullock moved to approve December 11th minutes; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.
