COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS
June 17, 2022
Commissioners Scott Miller, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock and Human Resource Specialist Kate Asbury were present.
Commissioners regular meetings were canceled for the week in response to the Flooding Disaster.
Monday June 13th Commissioner Bullock moved to Adopt Resolution 2022-16 Declaring a Disaster in relation to the spring flooding event; Miller seconded; motion carried.
Commissioners spent the remainder of the week coordinating response with DES Coordinator Cyrina Allen, Sheriff Josh McQuillan, City of Red Lodge Officials, Town of Fromberg Officials, State of Montana Department of Transportation. This Coordination included daily briefings and meetings with the All Hazard Incident Management Team from Missoula (WMAHIMT).
9:00 After consultation with Randy Okon and Jon Muir and the resources they researched regarding temporary bridges; Blain moved to procure temporary bridges from the Wadsworth Brothers for the North East Side Road and Meeteetse Trail; Miller seconded motion carried.
