COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS

Commissioners Doug Tucker and Bill Bullock, and Administrative Assistant Angela Newell were present.

8:30 Pledge of Allegiance

Commissioner Tucker has received calls from Town of Fromberg regarding erosion on the bank of the Clarks Fork River in Town of Fromberg. He, Tom, Josh, and NRCS will meet there today to look at the situation and determine if emergency measures are warranted to protect the Town’s water system.

DES Coord. / GIS Mgr. Tom Kohley met with Commissioners regarding flood potential.

Lynn Boughey met with Commissioners regarding his driveway off Grizzly Peak Road. He has some concerns about the shared driveway that was constructed as a condition of his neighbor’s subdivision approval. They are in disagreement about the language of the easement for the driveway.

9:10 Commissioner Tucker moved to accept Clerk and Recorder Monthly Deposit Reconciliation for May 2017; Commissioner Bullock seconded; motion carried.

10:00 Commissioner Bullock moved to accept New Motor Grader Bid from T&E subject to budget; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried. Commissioner Bullock noted will not be purchasing the v-plow that was bid as an option.

Commissioner Bullock moved to appoint Marcia Henigman as representative for John Grewell for election canvas; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.

Deputy Clerk and Recorder Christine Stovall and Clerk and Recorder Marcia Henigman met with Commissioners for the Special Federal Election Canvas. Commissioner Bullock moved to accept special election canvas as presented; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.

Commissioner Tucker left meeting to tend to a family emergency.

11:00 Commissioner Bullock opened bids for machinery and automotive fuels. One bid received from Ray Judd Ford for rack + $0.074.
