Commissioners Scott Miller, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock; and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
Terry Durbin met to discuss sandbags. Durbin noted residents in Red Lodge have completed a project to prefill sandbags and offered to supply some excess sandbags if the County had a need.
Commissioners discussed the housing meeting last night in Roberts. Bullock emphasized the need for multi-family housing to accommodate a higher volume of people not single-family housing to accommodate a minimal number of families.
Discussed yesterday’s LEPC meeting and statements made by Red Lodge Mayor Kristen Cogswell in relation to the airport. Allen and Commissioners discussed issues with Bearcreek Spring Boxes following flash flooding.
Cross met noted the Immunization grant has been executed will forward a copy. Cross discussed the three Nursing positions (one .6 FTE and two .8 FTEs) as well as the additional and .5FTE clerical position. Bullock moved to approve advertising those positions; Miller seconded; discussion of total department head count; motion carried.
Bullock moved to approve Land Use Agreement with Wolfe for a traffic detour for reconstruction of the Meeteetse Road Bridge; Miller seconded; Bullock noted there will be a slight alteration, access will only be provided to residents and the County for road maintenance, Wolf will be in charge of issuing any additional access permits; motion carried.
Sandy Conlee met to touch base.
