COMMISSIONERS’ PROCEEDINGS

Commissioners Scott Blain and Bill Bullock, and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present. Commissioners’ Secretary Barbara Daniel participated via phone.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance
Reviewed Road Crew Applications.
9:00 Election Administrator Macque Bohleen joined the meeting via phone. Macque and Commissioners discussed holding the June Primary Election via mail ballot. Macque noted the State is providing are limited funds to reimburse Counties for postage. Bullock moved to approve Resolution 2020-12 Designating June 2, 2020 Primary Election a Mail Ballot Only Election; Commissioner Blain seconded; motion carried.
Macque and Commissioners disused the detention facility Bond Election. Commissioners will review the timeline with the Architects, but anticipate cancelling the election slated for August.
Commissioners discussed calls they had received regarding a Floodplain Permit for Ken Karina. A formal application has not been received and the engineer will not certify drawings from permit submitted four years ago.
Bullock moved to approve employee time; Blain seconded; motion carried.
11:30 Shiela Boggio met with Commissioners to present Public Health Emergency Preparedness Grant Agreement amendment. Bullock moved to approve Amendment number one to Task Order Number 20-07-6-11-006-0 for funding to upgrade and enhance local public health capacity to respond to events related to COVID-19; Blain seconded; motion carried.
DES Coord. / Fire Warden Tom Kohley met with Commissioners to discuss COVID-19 preparedness. DES will receive centralized shipment of PPE.
