Commissioners Doug Tucker, John Grewell, and John Prinkki were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
8:30 DES Director Tom Kohley met with Commissioners to recommend Stage 1 Fire Restrictions be rescinded and the Burn Permit System be implemented. He will discuss burn permit and dispatch fire protocols with LEPC at their meeting Wednesday. He also informed the Commissioners that the County has not had issues with the Simulcast system for a week and it appears to be working as expected. There were counties that did not apply for Emergency Management Planning Grant funds and they have surplus; he will amend the grant application to ask for additional funding to possibly help pay for the Bridger Repeater site or more phone lines into EOC.
Commissioner Tucker moved to accept District Court Fines and Fees Summary for September 2015; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.
Commissioner Tucker moved to rescind Stage 1 Fire Restrictions; Commissioner Grewell seconded; motion carried.
Commissioner Grewell moved to enter into agreement with Fish Wildlife and Parks for the State to furnish $200,000 for pavement of Boyd Cooney Road subject to available funding; Commissioner Tucker seconded; motion carried.
9:30 Gordy Blevins, County Attorney Alex Nixon, and Deputy County Attorney Jacque Papez met with Commissioners regarding road easement for West Fork Road Reconstruction. Jacque noted that she believes there are three basis to establish the road as a County Road: there is a basis for it being a RS2477 road, there is documentation supporting creation of the road and its use as a County road since that time, and a public prescriptive easement. Commissioners requested Jacque write an Opinion on the issue for Mr. Blevens.
Sheriff Josh McQullan met with Commissioners to request that a county credit card be issued to his department. Commissioners agreed to have the card issued.
