Commissioners Scott Miller, Scott Blain, and Bill Bullock; and Administrative Officer Angela Newell were present.
8:30 Pledge of Allegiance.
9:00 Ed and Bev Draper met with Commissioners. They are in the process of subdividing property off Hwy 78 for light industrial development; adjacent to Red Lodge Fire Training Facility. Drapers asked if County is interested in moving buildings out of RL. Sheriff Josh McQuillan Joined meeting. Drapers noted the property already has3 Phase power and gas.
Bev also asked about gravel pit on brewery hill, concerned about access and safety issues with ingress and egress with increased traffic.
10:00 County Attorney Alex Nixon met with Commissioners for his weekly meeting. Discussed proposed reduction in force for Justice Court.
Miller moved to accept Commissioners Proceedings for September 2 and 7; Blain seconded; motion carried.
Miller moved accept the HRDC Community Service Block Grant CARES Act Plan; Blain seconded; motion carried.
Bullock noted discussion with other Counties regarding regional detention facilities. Looking at possible legislative changes that would allow possible augmentation to YCDF to better accommodate the needs of surrounding counties.
